Brent Tetri, MD, is professor of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University.

He joined the faculty of Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in July 1991 and served as the Division Director from 2010 to 2019. His specialties include Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, and Hepatology. Dr. Tetri is active clinically caring for patients with liver disease. He conducts clinical research in liver disease with a focus on NASH and he conducts basic research on the same theme.
